Unfortunately, so does the Canadian defense.

:biglaugh:

seriously though, give credit to this Finnish team....stop crying about the ice, the rules, the refs, and all this other garbage....

THIS IS NOT THE NHL.

THE PLAYERS KNOW IT'S NOT THE NHL.

THEY KNEW BEFORE THEY STARTED PLAYING!

WHY CAN YOU NOT UNDERSTAND THAT IT IS NOT THE NHL? :dunno:

So, are you insinuating that Canadians have no skill, or that NHlers all together have no skill?

Either way, your statement is a joke...

I have responded to a very offensive statement in a similiar manner.

you would do the same.

actually, i think he looks shaky...

Luongo shaky? Really?

I think Canada would be losing 6-0 right now, rather than 2-0, if not for Luongo.

and the whole american team...

One question...what does the American team have ANYTHING to do with the game currently going on between Canada and Finland?

Our D and our Forwards needs to start working. It was a better period, but we need to burry some chances. Richards looks great, Pronger and Regehr both had brutal periods again.

I'd love to see Turco get a shot in net as well.

Sure, 'cause, U actually need skills to play on big ice.

Look there are 7 nations here that can win this thing. Canada is losing right now becasue they were dominated by the Fins in the first.

But the game on big ice just does not measure up. Someone show me the Olympic games tha measure up to the 84 Canada Cup, the 87 Canada Cup or the 96 World Cup. Even the 2004 World Cup had better hockey. Too much ice = no intensity. This game is all skating and counter attacking.

Why?

Clearly because he sucked with the avs and thats stupid... The guy had a wonderful career (NHL & international), one bad season and he is out of team Canada

hahahahahahaha
Told you guys, Team Canada has scored his last game of this tourney 2 games ago.
It's over.

Regehr sucks
Foote is a joke (come on)
Mccabe is strickly a PP player
Blake sucks
Pronger is just awful

Quinn was born dumb and he will die dumb.
Not to mention that Bertuzzi, Smyth, Doan, Thornton (a guy who can't perform when it's time) and Draper should not been there.

Anyway you can not win with this D squad. Even the poor Habs D is better.

Even though I cheer for finland, one thing's for sure, it's not over for Canada yet.

I only hope that Canadian fans would appreciate europeans more after games like this.

People say, europeans have no heart and so on.

Man, look at Selanne, he's a one man team.

I mean that's him and Koivu vs the best of N.A.

Canada played as good as or better than Finland in that period, at least for the first half. So where is all our scoring power now, looking to be shutout two games in a row. Defense still looks bad and thats all of them, not just McCabe for all the Leaf bashers.

Should I list the time you lost to europeans.

The list is pretty long, I gotta warn you

I agree with that. I hate the larger ice surface. Nothing beat NHL playoffs that's for sure.
