It didn't make sense to me why Strand would risk taking a trip down to a hotel he had been banished from knowing Ophelia wasn't there to begin with. He knows Daniel well enough to know that he isn't going to killed by admitting that he lied while he was desperate to escape a psychopath. It made no sense IMO for him to continue the charade.

It's a bit weak though. I don't think Strand ever wants to admit he's lying though, he's kind of been this way from the start. The guy won't back off his lies until caught red handed. Who knows what his plan was once he got to the hospital though.

Even the second half of S2 wasn't very good, but I agree the first half was awful. That stupid boat plot might be one of the worst string of TV episodes I have ever endured.

They're at the very least bordering on racism with this storyline, if not being outright racist. The so called "protagonists" are all hostile/deprecatory toward the indigenous group (especially Madison and Nick), and there's been little meaningful attempt to paint them in a neutral light.

Easily better than TWD season 7. I'm hoping to see more Daniel in the 2nd half of the season though, but his episode was fantastic.
As a general note to some of the posts above, Madison and Nick are not good people. They never have been good people, right from the start. They are morally ambiguous and always have been. I don't think that they are racist against the Native Americans in any way, but Madison especially just doesn't care about their claim because it will hurt her and her family. She may very well know that the Otto's and their founders are in the wrong and are racist, but all Madison cares about is keeping her family safe on that ranch. Nick tries to be a good person, but like most addicts has no problem taking advantage of others for personal gain.
Travis was the morale compass of the show, and he was terribly done to the point of being unbearable. At least season 3 has made Madison into a pretty strong character.

You have it right. They took the body from the house to the barn in the truck, and later Madison went and chopped the head off to give to Walker as part of her deal.
