FAQ: Going to Anaheim and Honda Center

We sold Pepsi? I don't know I just know with 100% certainty they sell Jack Daniels. Does that mean my Jack and Coke was not really Jack and Coke? I feel betrayed.

That was my favorate thing at the cup parking lot party: one of the suits was thanking the sponsors and said, " I would like to thank Pepsi for all the Coke" money well spent Pepsi.

Parking near Honda Center

Hi everyone! Was just wondering if anyone could let me know a good place to park near the Honda Center that's either free or cheaper than the actual arena parking lot. I don't mind walking, but want to make sure my car is somewhere safe as well.

I always park at struck and katella it's on 5 bucks (sometimes 10 during the playoffs) and really easy to get out

Hey guys. Planning on visiting some friends in Garden Grove in Nov and hoping to catch a game while I'm in the area. How are the sightlines in the building? Any seats you guys recommend? What's the atmosphere like in the building (overall, upper bowl vs lower bowl)? Thanks!

Every seat is good.

I like the upper bowl more than the lower bowl but it's all opinion

Try to sit in the center terrace in the 400's best seat in the house!

Awesome thanks for the heads up! By center terrace in the 400's do you mean 409-414 and 431-436?

Center ice is like watching on TV. Corners and behind the goal is where all the action is. That's where you see who came to play and who didn't. Those seats are fantastic in the lower bowl. They're good upstairs too as you can see the plays develop (or not) much better from that angle. 50 yard line seats are better for football.

Perfect example of what is wrong with Center Ice seats...the freaking railing blocks your view of the goal.

So would behind the nets be better seats? I'm likely going to be attending the game with friends who don't typically watch hockey so I want to make sure the experience is enjoyable for them moreso than for myself. Thanks for all the great replies and discussion!

If you can afford lower bowl yes. The players look ****ing huge, they skate like the wind, bang bodies, and the puck is flying right at you as it hits the glass. It's a whole different game down there. Your friends will have a new appreciation for the game.

The only thing about corner seats, at least close to the ice, is that you can't see the play as it goes down the ice in the opposite direction. You end up having to watch the jumbotron a lot.

Since you are going to one game, do it right. Get seats in the 300s good views, in seat service. The few extra bucks is worth it. You can see the game from most seats. The back half of the top deck feels far away, but are not that bad.

I may go with that option as the lower bowl up-in-front-of-the-glass tickets may be out of my price range as a student. How much are seats in the 300s usually? I see some on Stubhub for around $70 a pop behind the net on the side Ducks shoot once and around $130 a pop at center ice for the game I'm eyeing out (NYI@ANA Nov 13).
