not saying the oshie hit wasn't clean (it was) but if we're splitting hairs: that oshie hit was during a preseason game. fantilli's hit on leonard was during a "win or else you're eliminated" game for the jackets.

the preseasonality of it all made oshie's hit unnecessary (but still clean) imo.

if a clean hit is going to draw the ire of an entire team (or just the fans), a 19-year-old lotto pick getting lit up by a 36 year old star in a preseason game makes more sense to get mad at than a 20-year-old leveling another 20-year-old in a "win or go home" game for his team.

We can only hope it carries over, this team may not make the playoffs but getting a little nasty in a home and home with a division rival isn't a bad thing. Players need to learn to play through these situations and it's kind of nice that our young talent is big enough to fend for himself.

I watched both McQuaid and Miller beat up Wilson. I watched Chara beat Wilson. I've watched Wilson run from Lucic. Wilson couldnt even beat a green Frederic or mediocre Josh Brown. I've had my fill of watching Wilson be turned into a bitch but hey, at least he got Carlo's head from behind a few times!
