We had a great trade deadline both in balancing short-term needs and long-term needs.

The only real asset they gave up was Ostapchuk and they walked away with a second top 6 forward and got the enforcer they needed to stop Brady from fighting...I am not saying Cozens for Norris is a lateral move, but it's close enough given where they will play in the lineup.

They got out of the liability of the Norris contract long-term without hurting the team in the short term, at least on paper.
