At first glance, I think most Leaf fans really dont want to move JVR, mostly due to his contract.

But when you consider the fact that his contract doesnt benefit a rebuilding team in the least, and that contending teams in a tight cap would LOVE a player of his style/calibre at that caphit, i think it starts to make some sense.

I think we could get a very very good package for him. Selling high generally means selling somebody you dont want to, in order to benefit from it several years down the line. It could be a good option, especially considering he's just as much a floater as Kessel defensively.
