Likely received more scrutiny than he deserved being drafted ninth overall and playing in New York - and it seems like there was much discussion about him in the Canucks forum after he was traded.

But to his credit he is off to a fast start for Traktor as a 24-year-old with eight points in 10 games.

@Caser , @Guadana , @Alessandro Seren Rosso or some of the others who see the KHL on a regular basis; does that mean he is starting to reach his potential or more a reflection of the level of competition Chelyabinsk has faced so far?

I have never been very impressed with any statistics from the KHL for any player that got back to Russia.

We have seen what he is capable of in North-America, nothing, and I think its still nothing.
