4+3=7 points in 12 games to start off his OHL career.

I think he's very good. For a big winger he skates well. His older brother is also 6'7, so you figure he could grow another 3-5 inches. His offensive game is very good and he already has elite puck protection skills. He can pass it, shoot it, has good hockey sense. Looks like a potential early first rounder pick in 2026.

He wasn't that good when I saw him at the u17s. Not bad, but I figured he would look better amongst his peers in his own age group.

That said, those are impressive numbers especially for a late born 16yo. Hes got an amazing track record and like others said his brother is massive which boxes well for his potential to grow a few more inches.

At this very early stage he's gotta be in the mix for top 10 or even higher for 2026

First 10 games, 1+2=3 -4
Last 28 games, 14+12=26 -6
-------------------------------
38 games, 15 goals, 14 assists, 29 points, -10

good numbers yes, because Niagara sucks*, but its also the OHL, the highest scoring league of the trio and those numbers are not great nor very good for a player who went 2nd overall,
who is 6 foot 3 and is 200 ish lbs skilled winger

*the worst team in the entire OHL this season

3rd in goals and points within team.

You have the most insane expectations for everyone. First you said McKenna was having a disappointment season while he was over ppg and still 15. Now you say 29 pts in 38 games isn't good for a late born 16 year old rookie.

Do you know how many guys put up ppg as late born 16 year olds in the CHL? It's not many. Rooebrock is a solid prospect with top 10 upside. We're not talking about Crosby, McDavid , or Bedard here.

Give him time , he still has 2.5 years until he can be drafted. So far he seems to be putting up good numbers (assuming you don't have ridiculous expectations).

He was the #2 pick into the OHL , not an ES guy. Go look at some last #2 picks and see where he stacks up at 16

24 points in 20 games, really surprised few are talking about him. I know he's a late birthday and not eligible until 2026, but he had quite a bit of hype coming out of minor hockey and just gone under the radar for awhile.

Wheeler and Pronman named him as a potential top 5 pick for 2026 on their podcast.

I would shoe him in as a top 3-5 pick for his NHL draft class. He's dominated at every level growing up and is the best player on a team as an underaged player in London.

Hage (2006) will be an NHL draft pick. Misa (2007) will likely be a top 5-10 pick in his respective draft class (players mentioned in previous posts)
Good call. Looking right about everything you said here.

Came here to say this.

Might be the most under the radar top 5ish guy in recent memory this far out from his draft year.

And the thing worth keeping in mind is that his brother (Big Roo) is 6'7. Small Roo is only 6'4 right now, but he turned 17 in September, so I don't see why he couldn't grow another few inches. He's a good skater for a big man already. If he grows and can keep the skating, he could be a monster.

Kid has been a stud since he was 10. He was always in the convo for top guys with Misa. Might not be the case any more bc Misa has pulled away a bit, but RR will be drafted and will be a gamer.
