I think it's much more likely that Leonard sneaks into the top 10 than Smith falling out.

This is nonsense. Benson is an excellent prospect in his own right.

I have Yager and Leonard both outside the top 10.
I don’t disagree, but the poster I was responding to was saying it’s more likely 3 Americans go in the top 10, than 3 WHLers, which is a dumb take…even if Leonard squeaks his way in, that’s still only 2.

Where is Sale & Dvorsky in this top 10 arguement?

First 4 are obvious.
Then Yager, Benson, Smith, Sale, Dvosky, Cristall, throw in a D or 2....and we're already at 12...then add 10 or so other players that could go pick 6-30.
Leonard could go top 10, but to claim he is a lock is underrating many other prospects.
Here’s how I see it:

1. Connor Bedard
2. Matvei Michkov
3. Leo Carlsson
4. Adam Fantilli
5. Zach Benson
6. Brayden Yager
7. Will Smith
8. Colby Barlow
9. Andrew Cristall
10. Dalibor Dvorsky
11. Ryan Leonard
12. Eduard Sale

Are you doing a mock or your rankings?

Rankings, I’d bet Yager likely doesn’t go top 8, just like Michkov likely won’t go 2…but teams will regret passing on them for sure.

4.Carlsson
5.Smith

Are there two highly ranked Smiths? I don’t think we will see a D in the top 10, I’d be shocked to see one go top 6

What happened to "no American goes in the top 10 at all"?

Again, you’re taking your own conversation out of context…That was me saying it’s more likely no American goes in the top 10 than 3, I stand by that.

I posted my rankings, you see where I think these guys are, feel free to share yours!

Really don’t see any holes in this guys game. Competes hard, plays physical, skates well but above all else has really good offensive tools. Nice puck skills with a fantastic shot. Think he has first line upside like a Timo Meier type, but more physical

I actually wonder if Leonard might have to tone down the physicality a bit. He won't have his size advantage in the NHL at 5'11 190. We'll see, some guys are built different.
