This guy stands out in a great way as someone with only 10 career games. Coach is giving him tons of opportunity, and is trusted as an 18 year old to take the faceoffs with the net empty. Would've been fitting if he scored on that OT shot.

Also...if the sharks could win shootouts they would have an 10-11-1 record lol. Team has way more fight than last year.

This kid just has that "it" factor. Great two way game, cerebral, good skater, high competitiveness. Seems like someone that will make everyone on the team better. Exactly the type of franchise player you want to build around.

They gave Buffalo a run for their money a few days ago, though Buffalo was at the end of a west coast trip, B2B, 3 in 4 nights, and didn't arrive in SJ until 2:30AM on game day. Still, that team has fight, and is playing tough. They'll catch some teams off guard.

Getting a top 4 pick in this draft is crucial as it drops off qucikly after the top four Hagens, Martone, Misa, Schaefer.

Yeah Michkov and Stankoven are also amazing but I think Celebrini takes the Calder when it is all said and done because he's that complete of a player, amd that valuable of a player... At 18!

The thing with this idea that Celebrini is so complete is that it’s not actually showing up in his numbers. In fact, the opposite.

I’m not saying he isn’t. Playing for the Sharks makes things difficult for him, but when you ask voters to consider something like that they are probably going to go with what’s happening in the numbers over some pre-conceived perception.

His best case is to simply outscore the others.
