Fails. Is it wishful thinking that he flourishes or fails ?
There's wishful thinking on both sides to be honest.

His contract is up in May...doesn't hurt to try and get him in early. Not like he's suiting up for Buffalo and if the Habs are trading any of their vet forwards, he'll get ice time.Yes, Montreal want to take him out of the environment he's thriving in to help their tank.

He isn't averaging less than 10 minutes per game, he occasionally plays less than 10.Thriving in? You mean thriving in being stapled to the end of the bench and averaging less than 10 minutes per game?
15 of his 34 games have been under 10 mins. He has 3 pts in those games. He has 17 pts in the 19 games he's played with over 10 mins.He isn't averaging less than 10 minutes per game, he occasionally plays less than 10.
Has anyone ever told you that you’re an F’ing idiot. Probably.I respect the meme-game, at least.
But, yes. Most ridiculously overrated prospect outside of the NHL because he's a Montreal draft pick, resulting in a bright spotlight and media attention, and there is a subconscious desperation to soothe the ache of passing over the superior Michkov.
Edit: Which, as I've stated, doesn't mean he's going to be a bust or anything. He'll prove a perfectly fine, one dimensional offensive winger who, in the modern NHL, will be a low-end first line player. That's fine value to acquire at fifth overall.
He's trying to sound smart by being self-deprecating it looks like. Kind of lame.Has anyone ever told you that you’re an F’ing idiot. Probably.

Well that checks out, doesn't it? Or is this "he doesn't play x amount of minutes therefore he is getting ruined" case you guys are trying to make like it was with Michkov?15 of his 34 games have been under 10 mins.
