this year, no but I can see it happening next season where he’ll still be an underager for the tournamen.
They’ll try to bring as many quality draft eligible players that are up for the 2023 draft. they’ll then fill the remaining spots with whatever high end ‘06’s are out there.

based on what I've seen of McKenna this season, he's not on my list for this year's U18 team. He gets a selection camp invite for the Hlinka tournament in August, but I'm not expecting him to make the tournament roster.

Haven't looked at it in 5 or 6 weeks. I'll put it on my Saturday morning to do list. The roster for the U18 tournament is in constant flux depending on CHL playoff matchups.

I just looked, all of his 9 assists in the WHL are primary assists.

in game #1, Mckenna scored just once and didn't get any helpers as his team lost, after leading 4-1...
in game #2, McKenna scored 3 goals and one helper, also get much needed win (5-2).
