I predict that Nazer will make EVERYONE forget about both Kirby and Colton Dach in 3 years.
The Prince that was promisedI predict that Nazer will make EVERYONE forget about both Kirby and Colton Dach in 3 years.

Why do I think Nick Schmaltz when I think Nazer?I predict that Nazer will make EVERYONE forget about both Kirby and Colton Dach in 3 years.
Why do I think Nick Schmaltz when I think Nazer?
They have similarities as players. Why do I think Nick Schmaltz when I think Nazer?
I think same... but- Nazar will shoot/score more... and is Built a little sturdier Schmaltz. Hope he can sty away from the Injury bug.Why do I think Nick Schmaltz when I think Nazer?
This is now an Alex DeBrincat return thread. Please move all Frank Nazar talk to the Alex DeBrincat trade thread
If Nazar is Schmaltz, add another couple years to the rebuild. Dach is a much better player than Schmaltz. Schmaltz is a wanna be Radim Vrbata.
even with him somewhat playing up to his size now Dach still has an embarrassingly bad shot. There’s a reason if you watch his goals this year almost every single one of them is an easy tap in to an empty net or him jumping on a 2nd or 3rd chance opportunity (the garbage man goals if you will).Right now Schmaltz is definitely the better player and I don't think it's particularly close. Dach may get there eventually but Schmaltz is a legit 65-75 point forward.
Schmaltz has something like 82 pts in his last 82GP, Dach has 45.If Nazar is Schmaltz, add another couple years to the rebuild. Dach is a much better player than Schmaltz. Schmaltz is a wanna be Radim Vrbata.
I doubt Nazar is schmaltz. If that’s what really happens, then it’s no doubt a f*** up by Davidson. If Nazar is Schmaltz, add another couple years to the rebuild. Dach is a much better player than Schmaltz. Schmaltz is a wanna be Radim Vrbata.
I haven't kept up with him, but didn't he lead the team in takeaways when he was in Chicago?Schmaltz is a 100% perimeter player. He offers nothing on defense. I would take Dach all day, everyday and I was never a Dach fan. If Nazar is Schmaltz, Chicago is in real trouble.
They're similar in how they skate. If you watch them side by side, they move similarly. That's more or less where the comparison ends.I don't see how the play of Schmaltz and Nazar are anything alike.
These are not the limits of these players nor are these the main core pieces. The 1st this year and probably next 2 years should be better picks that are bigger chances at being stars.First time I hear this comparison Nazar is Schmaltz. Add that Korchinski is all attack, no D a'la say Gustafsson and I wonder why we bother the rebuilt. These type of players are not core pieces.
Teravainen was traded to help unload Bickells contracts...TT won a Cup, Bickell WON US the Cup in 2013 and won 3 Cups...TT was moved because the Hawks knew they had Schmaltz in the way, and they couldn’t pay TT in his next contract...Schmaltz was good here until he started playing scared due to a few concussions.
Not saying that that is better than what Kirby will become, but there was a time when Nick Schmaltz played like a solid 1st liner for the Hawks.
Huh? They could have paid Strome easily. The Blackhawks want the team to have players who work hard and skate well. Strome does neither so he was let go.Teravainen was traded to help unload Bickells contracts...TT won a Cup, Bickell WON US the Cup in 2013 and won 3 Cups...TT was moved because the Hawks knew they had Schmaltz in the way, and they couldn’t pay TT in his next contract...
Schmaltz was traded for an already signed Strome because they couldn’t pay NS...Strome was let go because they couldn’t pay him...cycle
That's not why he was let go.The Blackhawks want the team to have players who work hard and skate well. Strome does neither so he was let go.
