Leaving him off the world junior roster was the right move. He’d be making all the other Russian players look even worse than they are themselves
Likely remains in Niagara. Season ends early because they miss the playoffs. Then he goes and plays in the AHL to finish off the year. And likely plays all of next season in the AHL as wellNo news on a trade? Would really like him off the icedogs, and hopefully not back there next year.
Well he wouldve got to play those 2 WJC games atleastShould've stayed in Russia
Second on the OHL (behind only Evangelista) in goals per game while playing on the worst team in the league with basically no help. What a bust
He's small and an overager. He's done. He has no room to grow whatsoever.
I always wondered what league he is an overager in according to some of these posts, because it certainly isn’t the OHL…you know, the league he currently plays in.
Longest point streak in the OHL currently I think. He's on a 15 points streak and crawling into the top 20 for points in the league even though he played less games. Only 8 players have more goals than him.
12 points in his last 6 games. That's a damn impressive pace.
Should have stayed in Russia to develop.2 goals, 2 assists, plus 5, 7 shots on goal tonight vs North bay. Not very impressive
Funny cuz probably true.Should have stayed in Russia to develop.
I think he will destroy the AHL. Not entirely sure about the NHL, but he's certainly going to be one of the more skilled AHL players next yearCan't wait for him to destroy AHL next season (or not). Great junior stats don't really mean much.
