So 2 points in his first 10 pro games. With PP time and everything.

Good thing I was told by the CHL fans he should have been on the 1st line in the WJC last year.

Did your opinion change since that post? 8 points in his last 5 games, and he's been producing at a PPG since mid-november now.

The same last year. Gushchin did start slow, SoundandFury did hate big, Gushchin went on a scoring streak and SoundandFury was SoundandQuiet. Now this kid is over PPG his last 10 games and showed again that he belonged on the roster one year ago, SoundandFury waits till his next few games without points to tell everyone how he always knew better. Maybe less fury and more chill the next time.

It's tough not to be excited about this guy. He's the type of player you think you need to temper your expectations but he's always displaying great hustle and offensive prowess.

He went supernova yesterday, first with that amazing between the legs goal

And then with that solo effort for the GWG in overtime

He also scored this beauty in shootout last week

He's small and still adapting to the pro game, yet he's on pace for a 20 goals 40 points season as a rookie. Incredible skills... will be interesting to see if he can push it to the next level

He’s going through streaks. It’s a learning curve of sorts. He’s improving and learning what works and doesn’t, then gets stymied, then does something else eventually. Overall though I think his season has been a success and hopefully next year with him probably being 1LW with Eklund up with the Sharks will put him in a position to get it all together and push for a roster spot the following year.
