One of those deals where both teams say no, therefore it’s actually maybe makes sense.

Not sure TJ would wanna go back to NYC though

Canucks move Miller and they need to replace him. He’s a 100 point, mean spirited, had to play against centre. Likely It would take Lafreniere and Schneider. And even then the Canucks aren’t getting the Miller level centre.
Lafreniere + Schneider + picks? Still where do the Canucks replace their 100 point, hard to play against centre, even with that deal?
Imo the Canucks won’t trade Miller. He’s too important and they can’t replace him.

On some level this trade makes sense. But only if the Nucks are willing to admit that JT is a problem in the room.

Player at the end of his prime versus player not even in his prime yet

Rangers aren't competing this year

... Hard no from NYR

If the Rangers aren't competing this year, then they might as well just tear it all down now as they're not going to better better next year with Shesterkin getting 12m+, and no prospects in the cupboards to come up and replace players like Panarin.

New York is the definition of a win now team.

Gonna be tough to tank with Shesterkin in net no matter how much he’s making

Miller has a full NTC in his contract. Can't see him willing to waive it to return to Rangers, but anything is possible I guess.

Going to cost ya more than that for Miller.
Umm why. Miller is a 100 point power forward

I think he has a problem with Tocchet

Yeah, I can see the Rangers trading Lafrenière if the Canucks added Quinn Hughes and Elias Pettersson (C) to Miller.
You are getting a little too over the moon by for the non bust. I'd be happy if my 1OA didn't actually bust after coming close too. But common.

Yeesh, relax. Coming from a Devils fan that would love for the Rangers to implode....losing streaks in November don't mean that much if you right the ship. The Rangers have too much talent and the bottom half of the division is very mediocre. They should still make the playoffs and then you never know.
