He’s going to hit around 40~45 points this year, book it. He just needs a little more confidence. We saw glimpses of it late last game as he started dangling and driving to the net. I think he's still a little scared to get benched (rightly so as Bruce is coaching scared too)

I think his release could be quicker. he takes a split second too long when receiving a pass to shoot it, giving the goalie just enough time to square up.
Some players you're just so secure icing that you know they will make the right decisions each time, to have this trait in a power forward package is a luxury, to watch a PF mature without dealing with the braincramps along the way? Even great ones like Bertuzzi, Mack and even Nichushkin had a rough go in their first few years. now if only canucks can parlay all these excess wingers into a foundation of defensemen, then we wont waste the EP, QH and Pod core. First step is trading Miller/Boeser.
