No it wasn't. Thats not a fact and you know it. We didn't lose the game or games because he was injured we lost because we didn't generate enough chances

The fact is he's tied up to a contract and term he won't be able to live up to. He's reaching Dion Phaneuf level of slowness and immobility

Oh yes. Classic Dubas is a nice guy and he won't trade him. We all know that to be a fact. Dubas too busy being mother Theresa than he is doing whats best for the team. Making difficult yet right decisions

They looked hard to beat, even despite being disappointing when Muzzin was on the ice.

Minute Muzzin was done with his groin, it was series over. You could see Montreal sensed that.

The play-offs were over as a contest the moment he went off the ice injured.

Unless they've got someone lined up to replace him, it would be a bad move.

Also, no chance Dubas does it anyway, he treats people well, he wouldn't bring him to TO and get him to sign a new deal then just bin him.

I don't actually get how making a sober decision about trading/exposing/discarding/buying out a player still under contract is any different than signing/acquiring some vet for 1 season then not re-signing the player. If you don't think the player's performing or you have an opportunity to make the team better, don't let other factors cloud your judgment. It's a professional sports franchise not your family. Not to say I agree about exposing Muzzin at this time.

Everyone thinks it will be 4-4-1. Honestly I am not so sure anymore.

4-4-1 is the only option unless we make trades. We only have 6 forwards that qualify for the draft, and we have to expose at least two. That leaves 4 we are allowed to protect.

1.) in the presser. Dubas said that he is looking to sign Hyman. He also said that signing him before the expansion draft would not effect his plans.

if they sign Hyman. It has to be 7-3-1. If that wasn’t the plan then why would he say that?

If that's the plan, it's terrible.

Kerfoot and Engvall still get exposed, and now both Holl and Dermott as well.

There is no option besides 4-4-1.

Because of this team's disastrous salary structure, we need Holl at 2 million. To find a comparable guy we would probably need to spend double that.

It likely means Kerfoot gets claimed but a top four d-man is more important than a third-line centre. We may be able to use his 3.5 and Simmonds' 1.5 to try to get 2/3 of Tampa's third line in Goodrow and Coleman.
