I don't mean they like the fact he got hurt but any most team would have had him in camp as a proven NHL player and their 2nd line center. This short training camp is the only time teams will have to install some systems...once this season gets rolling you will be getting next to no practice ...certainly no time for overhauling systems or teaching systems. Colliton openly stated they are changing their d zone coverage ...if he wasn't muzzled by the organization i dare say he would tell you what he really thinks of Dach being here.

That was a very boring Canada - Russia third period. Canada seemed tired, Russia seemed unorganized.

Not impressed with Russia’s offense, could barely circle the puck in the offensive zone, most chances came off breakout passes and even then couldn’t capitalize. Chinakhov alone had 3 great chances and could not bury it.

Defenders losing the puck in the defensive zone is nothing new but still very concerning.

Power play traditionally horrible

Will be interesting to see how we look against the USA.

Basicslly everything is pushed a year back from the original scheduling for locations. Which makes sense for all the people that bought tickets for this event that couldn’t go.

Hopefully these teams meet for Gold, they both get better as this goes along as well.

Nope I don’t want a repeat of last year’s gold medal game. I want a repeat of the EPIC gold medal game between Canada and US a la 2017!

Good system, not so good players. I love Larionov's hockey more, than Bragin's, but Larionov doesn't have players like himself or his former linemates. Or even like Kuznetsov/Tarasenko/Panarin/Kaprizov...

And if you want to use the word asinine - is playing in the NHL playoffs and winning a series , then losing a series not big game experience? What the hell gets bigger than that? Certainly not a junior tournament.
