Finland couldn't keep up with Sweden

Sweden was better the last game too.

I didn't see the replay, but wasn't he coming onto the ice, meaning the fault should be on the player who decided to come off?

He was the first defenceman on the ice. He should have rushed straight for Hornqvist.

There was a line change, Donskoi lost the puck on the blueline, let's blame RR for that

It's 3 games and home for this team, u23 team is going to dominate us.

Classic Vatanen, he plays his best when the games matter the most and is often terrible in practice games/pre-season games. Just doesn't care all that much I guess.

Pretty brutal game from Vatanen.

Nothing unusual. He got the contract in the summer. He isn't the first Duck's player who don't bother to train in the summer and it takes 20 to 30 games to get fit.

The score would probably be 7-2 if we didn't have a defenseman playing forward in this game. I like this team when Rakell returns next game.

Just a shame Alex Steen and Henrik Zetterberg are injured but it's just Finland though. We'll feel the vacuum when we start playing good teams.

Marjamäki said in the June edition of Jääkiekkolehti that we're not going out there to play a North & South game because we can't match them for in speed, size nor strength. So based on that and these warmups, how soon before he's learned how to trap in a small rink?

Lundqvist ***

And unlike Laine, you could easily put him on the second or 3rd lines and he'll bring in the same effort, skating while occasionally chipping in a point.

I really think he should have been in this team. At his absolute worst he would have been a tireless workhorse, and the upside is certainly higher than over half the guys skating on the wings.

Okay game by Lundqvist. Getting his groove back.

Didn't face much though, so pretty slow going. He's used to much larger workloads

Really liked Finland's 5on5. Sweden had problems to get scoring chances there. Not penalties in the tournament and it should be fine.

Weird. Almost had a better feeling after the last game. Amazing 1st period. Horrible 2nd period. Good 3rd period. Would like to see better consistency. Lundqvist didn't look amazing but he was ok. Better than Enroth atleast :)

Most positive thing from the game is that hörnqvist, bäckis and flipper all scored goals!
