Well, it's a scoring game, should and would haves don't count. Rinne was mostly quite ok, though a huge number of rebounds. Pretty good start from Finland as Sweden is such a strong team on paper, much better than us.

Sweden got robbed of a legit goal and had 4 more penalties. Sweden is the moral winner here.

Every single win against Sweden is a good one, regardless of the circumstances. :)

I'm waiting for the rematch. Just not so sure about how it will go... that team is scary as hell.

I don't see the complaining how the Swedes played on the 3v3. Sedin almost had a breakaway, Karlsson got to unleash slappers in the slot, Strålman had a solid opportunity, so did others... they could easily have scored and didn't give up anything before the oddman rush that was just a great shot by Mättää.

What? We were better, we scored more. And it was a very organized defence against the 2nd favourites of the tournament that is much stronger on paper than us.
You didnt score more. We got good goal disallowed

lol that's funny :D grasp to your straws. It's never a legit goal when the opponent is in the crease. Unfortunately sometimes it is allowed, but if you are on the blue paint even by a toe, it's in the rules that you need to disallow it.

Would want to see Laine and Donskoi change places next game but it won't happen though.

He was not in the crease when oel shot the puck.

But take your lucky win. Laine looked garbage and will need major AHL time.

Ristolainen doesn't have trash advanced stats when he's not paired with Josh Gorges. Go figure.

There is no moral winner the ones that suggest there are, are losers

Sweden looked really promising and Finland got away with one. Refereeing was lopsided even with that late penalty to Barkov. Disallowed goal was just total BS.

Nice to have hockey back. Nice to see Maatta scoring. Hopefully the kid finally gets a break after all he has been through.

Apparently it ends there while dancing around the opposing zone for 4 minuets as well.

True, but that's 3v3 for you. Doing it your way would probably have made it end up there sooner. Still loved our dominance and wouldn't want us to play any other way :)

Sure if goals scored is the only way to measure it but in what other way was Finland the better team?

Ristolainen-Maatta is extremely solid pairing. Shame you guys didn't get Juolevi, could have made great partner to Risto.

If your skate is in the crease, it's not a good goal. Learn the rules. The blue paint in the goalie crease is where your guys can't be before the puck is shot there. He clearly was in there, no controversy.

They use NHL rules here, skates are allowed to be in the crease.
