Very good. He takes away time and space so effectively, and you can tell on Petan's opportunity set up by Point, Morin has great patience with the puck and isn't afraid to skate it out of trouble, using his size to protect the puck. He isn't overly flashy but he's looked great so far.
I thought the Crouse-Gauthier-Virtanen line was also very good that period. Anyone bashing Gauthier for those missed chances just have an agenda. They all pressure the puck carrier so well and create a ton of turnovers, spending pretty much all of their shifts in the offensive zone or just clogged up in the neutral zone, which is perfect for a 4th line. They'll generate some good scoring chances as well from their tenacious play.
Mcdavid is such an unreal playmaker and has elite, elite vision. He just makes plays a second or two quicker than everyone else is thinking, including his own teammates.
