I think people should wait more then halfway through a season before crowning a certain player too.

Hey, I love McDavid, I want him to be the best player in the world, I would take him going forward also.

I just think this little kid from Philly MAY end up being just as great.

I don't see any problem with me thinking of the possibility.

The problem is you attempting to pull an "I told you so" before the second of two exhibition games end. You shouldn't be surprised if people call you out on that. It's a bit silly.
 
This tournament is kind of weird because there is an unspoken agreement to not be too physical. Some of these Team NA plays would result in the player getting knocked into next week in a regular NHL game. Lots of sticking necks out and reaching for pucks.
 
So that Scheifele kid is pretty good wow!

Jets are gonna be a fun team to watch this year.

4 years of development time ahead? Size?
The reality is everything JG does well MacD does just as well. And then he has youth, size and speed as a bonus. Barring injuries MacD is just going to be better no matter how much you dont want it to be true.

Both are pretty dominant at controlling the point, but yeah both have had blunders in the D-end.

That wasn't how it was meant.

It was meant as a reminder that maybe, just maybe this guy COULD actually be that good.

All what you say is true.

I just think there is something about that little guys game that is special.

You will probably end up being spot on, I just think Gaudreau is the guy who can potentially end up looked upon as a Mcdavid type player.
