Sweden look realy off, terrible coverage, terrible passing... Seems like they have allot to work on but I think theres some room for improvement.
Canada on the other hand looks realy fast.

Yup, I like the speed on this team. Swedes and US have been better in the past couple of tournaments in this regard.

As a swede I know I should love the physical plays. But some of those hits have been questionable, no?
There was about 2. Nothing absurd or incredibly dirty though, and the refs caught the hit from behind. I wish Canada would play more on the edge like that right now.

Yes, nothing wrong with playing physical, but some of the Swedes are taking a lot of runs/making bad hits. Has their team been finalized? Perhaps its fringe players trying to get noticed?

I've noticed 3 or 4 hit's by Sweden that have been from behind and could've easily been am injury. They're going to need to pick their spots better if they want to play any 5v5 hockey this tournament.

Comrie hasn't really been tested, so it's hard to say he deserves to be the number 1. I kinda hope Sweden gets some scoring chances in the second or third so we can see just what Comrie is made of...then again, if Sweden doesn't it also means that our team is very good defensively which isn't a bad thing either.

I don't think it's just about adjusting to the smaller ice-surface this year.

Sweden had a single shot on goal...

But the puck was in canada zon pretty much the whole first 8 min excluding PP, and there where a lot of shots that didnt reach the net

The first 10 minuts sweden where dominating the last 10 minuts canada where dominating.

Nice to see Canada bring a fast team to the tournament this year. Maybe the higher ups got the hint that playing grinders instead of elite scorers isn't the way to go after all.

If there were international officials doing in this game the Swedes would have had a couple of more penalties this period.
