I've actually liked that he's been more involved in this game. He's tried to do too much a couple of times, though.

Sweden owned that period, minus the last 5 minutes.

We looked a bit slower in the first 5-10 minutes but started picking it up and took the game over, still a 2-0 lead.

I like how our defencemen can skate in our own zone and spin Swedish attackers off.

Imo Duclair has been Canada's best player so far.

It was a toss up, I tried to name one of each position. I think Domi's been involved and creating a lot of chances. He was the one that kept the puck alive after Ward misplayed it which led to Duclair's goal.

Better period for Sweden. The D is capable of keeping the canadiens on the outside but they are given too much time for my liking. Hopefully it gets better when they adjust to the rinks. So many guys can play better. Ward & Kylington in particular are not looking good.

177cm on the team website, should be up to date if he hasn't had a growth spurt in the last couple of months. Relatively strong though, plays a lot more physical than Nisse Burström does. Still looks funny with the smallest defenceman on the PK.

both goalies were shaky that game if I recall. Both goalies got pulled and Jake Allen had a stupid goal where he couldn't catch a simple dump in and dropped the puck in front of an American player. Also, in overtime all it takes is one shot.
