He's not ready until he's over 25 and has overwhelmingly beaten the tie that naturally goes to every veteran.

*shudder*

Sorry everybody. Just had a weird flashback.

He will be good like Larkin from the first day he steps in NHL.

And he will be good like Zetterberg or Datsyuk from the first day they did step in NHL.

I liked these flashbacks. Good players are great from day one.

Agreed. Give him a play-driver like Larkin to play with and he will show he can thrive early upon his arrival.

Veleno and Berggren on now. Raymond and Seider later today.

Staffan Kronwall singing Berggren's praises before the game, calling him a "center type" among other things.

He will be fine for third line, 10-15 min a game

Ice time doesn't matter if he isn't ready physically. It isn't whether he can make it through a game, it is whether he can do well throughout a game. Not saying he is or isn't, just pointing out, that sending him out there for any ice time if he isn't ready to play in the rough NHL doesn't help him or the team.

Seider and Gelinas look like a powerhouse tandem. They are keeping so many plays alive in the offensive zone. Seider making lots of nice small area passes to set teammates up for shooting opportunities.

Mo caught out of position leads to a breakaway goal. On ice for two of the goals against today.
Not so much Seider specifically, pretty weird situation with an Örebro player changing behind the play with Seider and Gelinas not paying attention. The other goal was boxplay and not on Seider at all.

Funny thing if we could sign Gelinas and resurrect his NHL career.

At least he would fit on the Yzerman size-plan with defencemen as being 6'4.

The only one of Seider's GAs that he might even be considered at fault was the line change breakaway. The failed hand pass out of the zone was started by him throwing the puck around the boards to an open spot, but the opposing player beat the other guy to it. The gif starts right at the hard around, but I didn't noticce any immediate pressure, so he might have been able to take a few seconds to make a better play, I don't know.
