I wouldnt really entertain trading EP, much rather find a way to trade Miller but if McTavish and a potential top 10 pick was the package i'd have to think about it.

ahh so more of a hockey deal. Issue is the Canucks are negotiating from a weak position. Not only is the rift public, but their performances haven't been the best lately.
IMO I expect a deal around a risk/reward upcoming RFA C for 1 of the 2.

Buffalo should be willing to get a high impact C like Petterson.

Offer a base around Dylan Cozens and go from there.

Cozens package gets you Miller. Tage or Power would be the base for Petey in my mind.

Some Canucks seem to think JT is still 25 years old.

Both staying is really not an option, and both leaving makes equally little sense. I suspect its JT that's moved, but, either way, by the TDL we'll have one less star center.

I don't think the value is terrible, but from Buffalo's perspective it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. They have 1 top 6 center in Thompson. Trading him for Pettersson doesn't address that issue.
