They keep noting Alvin basically confirmed it, and Bruce Boudreau said it was there. It's real, whether or not Canucks fans want to believe it. It isn't just a media rumour. Canucks Coffee: Bruce Boudreau brews on J.T. Miller, Elias Pettersson disconnect
It’s very, very possible they’re not BFFs. I don’t see many Canucks fans denying they probably don’t mesh well. That doesn’t mean that all of this hype and hoopla - saying that this rift is the reason Miller was away or the reason the Canucks are losing - is accurate, or that it’s driving a trade.

Honestly, Petey would get eaten alive in Boston if he plays the way he has been playing. I don't think he has the mental make up to play there

I think he would thrive on a team that has 1-2 top dawgs where he is not looked at as a leader, etc
The problem is, what team (besides Toronto) is willing to pay a passenger player nearly $12m?

All things equal, Pettersson is a better player than Thompson. He is also a true #1 centre, while Thompson may well be more of a winger. Quinn, at this point, is a throw in.

Trade Power in a separate deal for a centre and move Cozens to wing and you could have a top-6 of Pettersson, Cozens, Tuch, Zucker, Peterka, new centre.

Just my view that value-wise, this is better for the Sabres than Cozens plus Byram or Power.
Hilarious. Quinn is PPG over the last 11 games including two goals so far tonight.

The Canucks may not get a better offer than Dobson and Nelson for Pettersson. Unless the Sens are willing to offer Chabot and Norris.

No, it really is just media rumours. Allvin confirmed nothing.
Depending on the return, trading Miller, imo, could be good for the Nucks. Rumors or not.
it has potential to be good, Miller is one hell of a player but he’s getting a little long in the tooth.

Bossy is good, players with passion actually want to win and see the team around then succeed. Personally I wish we saw more of that from players.
Sometimes it's good, I just don't think he follows his own criticisms. Not a bad player, but . . . He is a Bozo

Yeah, it’s just the culture of people being “over the top”

Miller shows emotion, he’s a bad teammate
McDavid tells the locker room to dig the f*** in and he’s a bad leader having a tantrum

People coping that there isn't anything there STILL is just incredible
