Everyone saw it coming from the Vegas pic with stacks of money:

And everyone was called racist for saying, "This isn't going to end well."

Dan Milstein, known pretty much as only a Russian player agent, took this client on. He's the only North American player he represents aside from the elite player that is Kurtis Gabriel.

It's not going to end well for Kane.
He took a pic with stacks of money. Get over it. It doesn't mean he's a bad person. It's not an indictment of someone's character for a 20 year old to take a picture like that.

You can see the future apparently, so fill us all in on what other players 'it's not going to end well' for. I'm sure you have a couple more, oh wise one.

This picture is actually from the past. As are all the things he's done that led to this moment.

The people who he owns money tom will not be happy. This story far from over. I can see him him heading to the KHL for the rest of the season while the lawyer sort stuff out

You'd think that getting waived after leading your team in scoring would be enough for him to take a step back and reevaluate the things he did to put himself in that situation, but nope, he just had to go out and triple down on that shit.

Can't say I feel sorry for him.

Welcome to Carolina Evander!

You'll get along great with our latest character issue signing Tony DeAngelo

He ripped off Newport so.......there's another burnt bridge. Nobody in North America was going to touch him.

At this point its just about protecting his current deal. He will still play in the NHL again this season just won't be for the sharks . There are still multiple teams interested as per hockey night in Canada.....
This will allow a 2 way deal for less $ and performance bonuses.

I've defended him a lot, I do think he's under more of a microscope than other nhlers, and there are a ton of nhlers who have done morally objectionable things that I still cheer for. But it's time for the contract to be over if he broke protocol again. Not to mention probably knowingly exposing people.
the whole league is vaxxed and sick spreading it around everywhere. Putting people in danger

So he deserved to be dumped for having a drug addiction to pain killers?

He was arrested in June and settled with the Kings in October.

He signed with the Capitals on January 6th and played in a game on January 16th 2016.

Congrats to the Lombardi using his drug addiction against him to dump that terrible contract with a much easier “buy out” spread out over a longer amount of time. Hey whatever works, right?

This Sharks move is straight up ludicrous so I’m curious how this goes.

Mike Richards' drug case: Canadian judge makes decision
How exactly is it ludicrous? Guy get suspended for violating NHL COVID protocol, gets sent to the AHL, violates their protocol and then returns to the team a week after he was supposed too. It's fairly obvious he could care less about following rules.

His NHL days are over. It's obvious. None chance he gets claimed before the deadline today, none chance he ever suits up for the Sharks again. He's done. Going to Russia probably is a good idea because the government will protect him from his western creditors.

Richards addiction issues were only endangering himself.

Evander Kane breaking COVID protocol is different. It endangers lives and breaks international rules. if you ask a border guard what is a bigger deal right now, someone sneaking across a border with COVID or carrying a bottle of pills across the border, I know what answer you are going to get. 1 is an individual problem, the other is shutting down countries and causing lockdowns that affect the economy, lives, etc
