Leafs players have a different set of rules. They aren’t allowed to defend themselves. They have to take every cheap shot with no retaliation.Dude Bunting did the same f***ing thing In the regular season against Ottawa lol
Based on Bennett I say a fine is coming, and that is enough.I never believed in not hitting a guy just bc there was a few secs left only in the period, IMO play till the whistle blows. That being said, I have no issue with Kane going for a hit with a few secs left, but he absolutely got his stick up high and cross checked him very high. I suspect the league might look at that and apply a fine (deservedly). I doubt thats a suspension though.
I can't tell if this is a joke at my expense because I'm an Edmonton fan or because you don't think I am.Would it make you feel better if Edmonton fans felt it wasn’t even that bad?
The lionshare of criticism and speculation regarding Kane was not about crosschecking. It was off-ice and locker room issues.I was told he had turned over a new leaf in Edmonton.
While Howden should have gotten a two minute penalty, your definition of "exact same play" is quite interesting.Lol funny how you didnt show the exact same play where a knights player cross checks Bouchard in the back of the head I wonder why that could be. Trash avalanche fan making himself trashier by the day
That should've been more than 2 minutes, wasn't a hockey play with a clear intent to injure
Can you share the replay?Lol funny how you didnt show the exact same play where a knights player cross checks Bouchard in the back of the head I wonder why that could be. Trash avalanche fan making himself trashier by the day
Man, the Avs fans have an obsession with the Oilers....
If this was not Kane I doubt it would've been a thread.
Yes, that's why on the first two pages there are 3 threads about "dirty" plays, one who ended into an injury and two about Kane....I mean it probably still would've popped up.............Kane or no Kane, it was a pretty noticeable and also careless play.
The fact that it WAS Kane who did it, though, is what everyone here finds least surprising of all.
agree, just a goofy play that should have more impact on the game itself rather than suspending a player that does more bad than good for their team after the fact under the guise of "safety"I wouldn't call for a suspension here, but I feel that should have been a double minor, maybe a major.
Skating straight up to a guy and popping him in the chin after the buzzer sounds -- in this case not quite as bad as it sounds -- is still something that should be heavily discouraged.
Initial point of contact is high shoulder but it rides up and connects with head, IDENTICAL to the Kane hit (also connects with high shoulder/collarbone area and glides up, also LETS UP).Not in neck or face and it wasn’t after the horn blew… next…
Edit: and he let up and barely made any contact.
