theres a dif between playing until the whistle blows and that. he knew time was running out and nothing could happen at all which is why he charged in the way he did. Getting him high(most likely intentionally) could very likely end up as a suspension for kane given his historyI never believed in not hitting a guy just bc there was a few secs left only in the period, IMO play till the whistle blows. That being said, I have no issue with Kane going for a hit with a few secs left, but he absolutely got his stick up high and cross checked him very high. I suspect the league might look at that and apply a fine (deservedly). I doubt thats a suspension though.
