I can't believe that random-ass tweet actually got it right!

Today truly is a victory for sketchy twitter accounts everywhere.
Actually the strangest tweet in a long time. The author of the tweet has zero followers and threatens to ban anyone who tries to follow his account. Then posts credible inside info. Bizarre.

The filed statement of defence in the casino suit will be telling.

It seems like he just paid with bad cheques.

Greaseball.

The man is out of pride. Ottawa took his pride away. That’s the price you pay to this community for insulting us

The question is: why hasn't he corrected this error in 2 years?

Only thing I can think of is that he is disputing the amount owed? Seems to be the common theme with most of the lawsuits, it's not that he does not acknowledge he owes something, it's that he argues that he does not owe that much.

How do you dispute the amount owed when you already acknowledged it by writing a bunch of cheques?

*shrug* Perhaps you are disputing that they bounced? Or maybe they were forgeries? Or that they were for something coerced while he was under the influence of anti-rejection meds and therefore not liable? I'm grasping at straws but to be able to drag it out this long there must be at least a minimal legal argument for not paying up.

Keep in mind that his lawyer said there would be a swift resolution, not that he would pay up... so there must be something that they feel is arguable in terms of what is owed.

Hopefully he stops paying his lawyers soon and we can get a move on with this!

On a side note, heard the CTC office cleaning staff has been cut again and it's back to employees taking out the garbage and doing the general cleaning ....im not actually opposed to this to be honest for at least some jobs.
