But what's the point of cheering for a team if you're not going to watch the games?I don't know. Why are you and dark knight trolling me on this? Who gives a f***? I'm not sitting and watching 33 hours of leaf playoffs. I'm just checking in to see who might be getting fired today. If you are watching all the 33 hours of Leafs playoff hockey and I'm not, then what's it to you?
You can go dig up some Tavares quotes in his last year with the Isles if that makes you feel any better. The idea of negotiating, sorry, caving to any/all demands from said franchise center induces a sickly feeling in my stomach, yes.
$11.63 got us 1 playoff round win in the 4 years at that cap-hit, thus far.
Posting in a PGT is the same as watching all the leaf playoff games?Looks like you participated in more than two GDT's and PGT's.
Seems odd to post in a GDT if you're not watching
Kids love Santa Claus. If you're looking for big picture takeaways from today so far: Players are giving Kyle Dubas a vote of confidence, potentially pressuring the organization to get that extension over the line.
He has a career playoff s% of 10.2%. He finished this year at exactly that number. Feels like this is more of the norm than an exceptionHis shooting rate dropped over 31%, from the prior two years. 12% in the regular season, 10.2% in the playoffs. The prior two years average was 17.8%.
There is clearly something wrong with him physically. I think we all saw that, all season long... his shot just wasn't as dangerous, and wasn't as accurate. At some point, that's a chronic issue. Still, nobody in the media asking the hard questions about this.
Moving forward, how much is he worth, as an average shooter, who doesn't push through in the playoffs? Which Matthews would we get going forward? I certainly wouldn't be proposing any raise, that much is for sure.
I don't think I'm trolling - I just find it odd that you care more about the post season interviews than the actual playoff games that matter, and more so that you felt the need to tell us you didn't watch any games. Like he said, it came across like you were somehow smarter than us for not wasting your time or something. Not a big deal.I don't know. Why are you and dark knight trolling me on this? maybe this explains why some players (holl ..???) can stay in the line-upThis group...'We are all friends and tight', maybe that is a problem, too much focus on the social side of this, you all have a job to do, there is being a tight knit group but that can overshadow the task at hand. That's all i hear from each of the players, i want to spend time with my friends, we are close, but damn man, you guys are getting paid millions to win not to have social time together. A little bit of competitiveness and work ethic should be the priority, is this what it's all about for this group.

What Tiger Woods golf swing did to his knees, Auston Matthews and his wrists. Sometimes world class equals world class strain on the joint. His shooting rate dropped over 31%, from the prior two years. 12% in the regular season, 10.2% in the playoffs. The prior two years average was 17.8%.

Let’s hope management is smart enough to see through it. The amount of draft picks he’s given out alone just to win one round should be grounds for not offering a new contract IMO.If you're looking for big picture takeaways from today so far: Players are giving Kyle Dubas a vote of confidence, potentially pressuring the organization to get that extension over the line.
JT is our problem, like it or not.JT is like a wet fart and the Leafs are the white pants.
Can't do anything until you wash your pants of that shit contract.
I'm sure this is different though![]()

Q to Player 1: "Were you nursing any injuries?"
Player 1: "No. I'm great."
Q to Player 2: "Pick up any injuries during the playoffs?"
Player 2: "Not really."
Q to Player 3: "Playoffs are tough grind. Will you need some time to heal up before preparing for next season?"
Player 3: "Nope, fresh as a daisy."
Q to Player 4: "The other guys seemed to be healthy for the most part. Surely you've been nursing some chronic problem for months?"
Player 34: "Nothing more than the odd bumps and bruises."

There's something with his mechanics that generates too much whip and it effects the wrist badly obviously. What Tiger Woods golf swing did to his knees, Auston Matthews and his wrists. Sometimes world class equals world class strain on the joint.
I feel left out! This organization does not deserve the fanbase they have. Half the league couldn't get this participation in playoff GDT, let alone a presser.

We really need to have our heads examined.
I wouldn't rule out Vegasthis is the only place I've ever felt was a threat
imo it's like 85% Toronto, 14% LA, 1% something else

Similar thing to GSP in MMA. He stepped away at a young age of 32, but a few behind the scenes interviews indicated he had injuries that just kept piling up.What Tiger Woods golf swing did to his knees, Auston Matthews and his wrists. Sometimes world class equals world class strain on the joint.
