Am I hearing Allvin right that Willander is intending to go back to college next season?
Yeup.
These guys have f***ed the situation heavily imo.

Willander wants to go back to school? That's insane, he's already NHL ready.
Tom is going to back to school because his agent prob saw the defence line-up and sees there is absolutely no room for him right now.
I think his agent and Tom wants to get traded for a better opportunity.
On the right side? He's probably ready to slide into that 2nd pairing along with Marcus Pettersson.
Canuck will not exercise Tocchets team option interesting.

You can't push down Myers on the third pair after how well he's played.
It's the logical choice. Don't force a coach that wants out to stay here because of a contractual obligation.
I think Rutherford, in his answers to the Miller/Pettersson questions, is creating a whole lot more questions than answers.
There's 100% opportunity here for him, that's crazy talk. If you can't beat Mancini out for a spot there's not many places in the NHL you will be able to play unless your team is trash.
So which coach will be here next season?
I actually don't mind the answer he gave.
Whatever the reason may be, getting into more of it will result in nothing good. And as with everything else, it's likely multifactorial and of course there will be those who will amplify a singular factor, based on their own biases, and then the whole narrative will turn into another shitshow. What I'm hoping is that the team objectively and calmly look at the event, and see what can be done in the future to avoid it, and what can be done to mitigate it if such event happened again.
It's not so much that - but speaking so glowingly of Miller, the guy you dealt, while being quite critical of Pettersson, the guy you kept, is leaving me scratching my head.
Listening to Rutherford talk about JT and Petey, it seems like he has more confidence in JT. So it’s even stranger he’s gone and Petey is still here.

Friedman confirming his understanding is the same as ours.
