He’s never looked like Kopitar, what a weird comparison that guy threw outOh my bad I didn’t realize he’s ever looked like Kopitar
HFBoards for yaOh my bad I didn’t realize he’s ever looked like Kopitar
Tough year for an elite 26 old.
Do any nucks fans really want to trade him?
I can’t parse through the trolls on this board anymore. Too much.
Quinn's the captain.Trading Miller meant they handed the keys to not just EP but also his philosophy/ ideals. The question then becomes... Do they want to shape their locker room into EP40's?
Bennett was Huberdeau's primary center when he hit 115 points.I think you're pretty close. He's kind of like Huberdeau. Who was 100+ points with Barkov as a center. I would think Petey is a guy who needs a solid centerman to play with, like he used to with Horvat and (when they weren't fighting) Miller.
Yes he is.Quinn's the captain.
I think if you're Vancouver you gotta just write off this season as an off-year for Petey and hope he bounces back. The problem with trading him-aside from selling low-is that you'll basically have to go through a new rebuild.
Also Pettersson needs to get surgery for whatever is ailing him, it's been hinted multiple times that he isn't fully healthy.
JT had to be traded because he was quite literally a cancer to the locker room.If you're going to trade him, I don't understand why you would trade JT Miller then.
Yup. Oh great they traded the big bad Miller, so he should be happy but he's still ass. Even if he's coddled and catered to, what happens when the next bad thing comes up?Pretty ridiculous that the guy with the 6th highest AAV in the league has been shit for over a year now because the vibes are off.
They should trade him. With a contract like that you’ve gotta be bringing it every night. Especially in the playoffs.
How many "off years" does he get?I think if you're Vancouver you gotta just write off this season as an off-year for Petey and hope he bounces back. The problem with trading him-aside from selling low-is that you'll basically have to go through a new rebuild.

The Canucks showed they don't care about having a 100 pt center when they dumped Miller for penniesAs I have said before on this board, if you trade EP40, you are not getting back a player who can post 100 point seasons and be a difference maker (a long shot for the incoming player). You would get a quality player and reasonable draft pick, the problem is that Vancouver has a lot of good pieces and need a 1 C now. I believe (hope?) that EP40 can bounce back and the last Allvin interview was very telling (I believe) as he said (i am parpahrasing here) "EP40 was humbled and approached management and staff in realizing what he needed to do, to maintain elite status in the NHL". As a Canuck fan, I can only hope EP40 can find his way back, make him train with Crosby in the off season lol (lower body strength).
Has it been proven it was him? I thought I read a good portion of the Canucks were mad he was traded.JT had to be traded because he was quite literally a cancer to the locker room.
