Glad that Petey is having fun again, he was so excited about the win he practically jumped JDB on the OT goal celly. Its a long way from the frustration he showed late last season and the playoff. Hopefully this is the reverse of the negative loop he was in, and that now he is playing better he is happy -> and he is happy as he plays better.

I wonder if the team could benefit from an extra "rah rah" "fatherly" kind of assistant coach. I recall how Boudreau was credited with EP's first turnaround by just being more encouraging and upbeat.

Could be recency bias, but it seems that when our players struggle they really struggle. "Just dig yourself out" may not be working on modern day players.

After last nights game in Detroit, he has 21 points in 23 games. He is almost a point per game player but we all know there is more for him to give. At least he is on the right path and I believe he will continue to improve and dominate games. If Petey keeps progressing, Miller comes back recharged and Demko has no setback when he begins to play, hopefully we the Canucks can hit their ceiling.
