sorry to be off-topic but does anyone (in the UK) find GCL laggy this year?

I've tried hockeystreams this year but have found it pretty laggy so far.

Hey look! Hull won their second game!!!!!!!

Bowns vs. Murphy
10gp 3.82gaa .901save% (2-8-0) - 37.2 shots against per game
9gp 2.44gaa .901save% (7-2-0) - 24.8 shots against per game

I'd kill to see these guys on similar quality teams to see who out plays who. It's not even fair right now and Bowns is still maintaining the same Save% as Murphy.

Information needed

Hello everyone! New guy here.

I am a sport marketing student from Finland and I am working with a case that I am comparing British and Finnish hockey. So, I would be very grateful if someone could give me useful links and information about EIHL and it's teams. For example, I am trying to find some budget numbers of the teams, info about the level of the league comparing to Finland Liiga or Mestis, or any other well-known league in Europe. Also some very basic information would be very needed.

Thank you!

I don't believe the EIHL teams release their budget information, you may be able to get some info contacting them through the contact points on the official sites if you explain you're doing a study though

I would compare the standard of play to the Mestis, but EIHL teams most likely have much bigger budgets as they bring in so many foreign players. Other comparable European leagues are the French, Italian and German DEL2 leagues, It's certainly weaker than the Swedish Allsvenskan

From the where are they category
I see that David Ling id playing with the CeeBee Stars in the Newfoundland Sebior League and that Bruce Graham is with Tracadie-Sheila Alpines in New Brunswick's Northeast Senior League
Nic Riopel is in Denmark with Frederickshaven White Hawks
I also see former Dundee player/coach Brent Hughes is an asst coach with Brampton Beast in the Central League and former Dundee Captian AJ MacLean is an asst xoaxh with Soo Greyhounds in the OHL

Holy *^*^...

Hull down 2-0 through 2 periods to Belfast which is to be expected... Bowns has made 43 saves on 45 shots through 2 periods.

He averages close to 40 shots against per game and is still maintaining over a .905Save%

Bowns finished with 60 from 62, which could be one of the highest save totals of the EIHL era.

Jaw dropping numbers tonight for sure.

Hard to believe he's the youngest starting goalie in the league by 3 years, Brit born/trained and dealing with more work than anyone in the league while still putting up a .908Save%. I know .908Save% isn't close to the top in EIHL but factoring in the work load that's insane.

I've been using hockeystreams HD stream this year. They had minor hiccups but I found changing servers sorts that out (usually London, but sometimes Amsterdam).

Live games have more lag than archived one, but thats consistent everywhere.
