I didn't even bother looking for a stream when I saw it was Fife/Dundee lol two teams that have nobody I'd want to see really.

I can't get over Ben Bowns #'s, he faces so many damn shots per game and still has a top 5 Save%

McCluskey and Swindlehurst are two defensemen on Dundee you should be watching

I know but I can't watch an EIHL game to focus on D-men, it's too painful  at least not against a team like Fife.

I like how McCluskey is 23, never played U18, never played U20, and yet a lot of people have him on their radar for the Senior team already  most of the guys who made those U18/U20s over him are playing EPL or NIHL.

He has kind of come out of nowhere

I went to see the Blaze vs Panthers last night. I was pleasantly surprised with the level of play and it was quite entertaining. The Coventry home crowd was too quiet though, and the Panthers minority took over the chanting for most of the night.

There was a scrum in the handshake line. Does that happen often in the EIHL since they shake hands after every game?

It was quite a heated game with a pretty good fight halfway through, I guess some stuff carried over to the handshake line.

Think Flyers will struggle for consistency, much like Braehead, due to their lack of depth. Great result for them though after a tough season last year.

its good to see fife flyers to have turned it around a bit. They just have to figure out how to get that extra goal at times.

First time I watched a British League game live, the Flyers destroyed Hull by a score of 7-3. The level was quite good, better than I would've thought. Defensive tactics seemed to be non existent, but the technical side of the game was pretty good, but as you could see, those who had some puck control, always tried to go by themselves and ignored their linemates.
Took a nice live bet on the Flyers who where the Underdog, but just finished their chances better.

lol no wonder EIHL don't have quality coaching... they hire guys with no experience and fire them when they don't get immediate results.

If you're going to give a guy a chance to be a head coach in the league... give him a chance.

Coventry have horrendously underachieved this season though, on paper they are actually quite a good team

I don't know to what extent the issues are the fault of coaching but it's an easily justifiable decision

I'm sure they are underachieving but what do you expect from a coach with 0 Head Coaching experience and only 1.5 seasons as an assistant coach lol

kinda wish Hull had an ice hockey goalie as their backup so Bowns didn't have to get absolutely demolished and have no choice but to finish the game.

And a few days later the Steelers fire Doug Christiansen

I truly don't understand it. They're in 3rd place, the seasons almost over, and he's still only in his first year as the head coach of Sheffield.

On the bright side, I guess he won't have Sheffield bias when selecting the final roster for GB lol

Oh Em Gee

Adam Goss has touched the ice for the second time in February!!!!! It's also the third time since September!!!!!!!!!!

For 2 minutes and 40 seconds?

He played afterwards for the NIHL team as well!

He did pretty well in the NIHL game at least. AND HE HAD A 1.000SAVE% IN THE EIHL GAME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I guess that's the downfall of living in Coventry and needing EPL, every team is over an hour away.

I just noticed 95 born Connor Standing has played a total of 0 games with Basingstoke too... In fairness, I hear the NIHL team has a hot shot goalie that would give Ben Bowns a run for his money
