Hopefully not.Is there any scenario where he could end up a Leaf?

So we give up the better player. Who is heathy. No thanksI'll say it again: Marner straight up.
- Buffalo might go for it because they're under pressure and certainly won't get fair value plus Marner's deal was very front loaded so there are monetary incentives.
- Eichel has a give-a-shit quality to his game that this team seems to be missing.
- The team clearly needs a shakeup and a message sent.
So we give up the better player. Who is heathy. No thanks
Yes he is.Marner is not a better player than Eichel.

What about facts is funny. He is the better player and not a dressing room issue.

Yeah, doesn't make a lot of sense for the Leafs. So we give up the better player. Who is heathy. No thanks
Yeah, he is. Even more-so when talking about injured Eichel, who may never properly heal.Marner is not a better player than Eichel.
What is your facts to support your claim.Facts without context are useless. Just like your argument. Did you take into account quality of linemates or competition into your in depth assessment?
There sure is. Dressing room issues. Defensively poor. Disliked by coaches and team mates. Does not make his team mates better. There's more to player evaluation then sorting by points but I'm pretty sure you know this.
If the Leafs didn't have Matthews I could see a case being made for a Marner/Eichel swap. What is your facts to support your claim.
Marner has produced better. Is better defensively. Makes players on his line better. Is not a dressing room issue. Kills penalties. It all adds up to a much better player.
Yes he is.

I would swap JT for him but never Marner he makes players around him better. I would trade Nylander and a prospect for him with retained cap hit up 30%If the Leafs didn't have Matthews I could see a case being made for a Marner/Eichel swap.
