He was an inch away from ending it on the PP, totally beat Smith, just nicked the crossbar. 2 PO's ago when he wasnt getting on the scoresheet, he was still playing the right way and consistent in his game. He's only become better. Sometimes you get the inch, sometimes not.I wanna see more consistent production before he is out of the, “PO underperformer”, bracket.
But, as he has been injured, he is exused for not continuing the production in his 2nd game back.
If you just care about scoring, I think we'd see some higher numbers with ESW (based on past performance). I think we'd have a better chance at beating the Leafs with that combo, but looks unlikely that CSW will be split up...
