I think he was referencing SIGNING LaChance.Yes it is that bad. This guy is being outscored by Adam Henrique. Struggling 3rd/4th line tweeners go for third round picks or worse. Facilitating extra retention from a third party has a historical price of like a fifth round pick not two passable prospects. If you're even right that the one wasn't going to sign you could still do better by moving his rights elsewhere.
But I'm sure the board will gaslight itself into thinking this is fine just like it did with Henrique and Bjugstad and Athanasiou.
Disclaimer: I don't dislike Frederic as a player. He'll help and would have been a smart Buy low option if the team had actually bought low.

In that respect, it has a lot to do with it for some players, especially American ones. Nothing wrong with that. Indentured servitude was outlawed many years ago. I suspect you are free to choose where you work as well?
