I think that's pretty optimistic. I expect more like 6-6.5m AAV x 7 years. No way he signs for under 5m unless it's a 2yr bridge deal or something.

Look at his comparables then tell me he is signing for over six. Reilly contract is good gauge. That's 6x5. Check back in after he signs in a few weeks

Trouba’s side will be looking at Hamilton’s AAV not Rielly’s, and it sounds like both Trouba and the Jets may want more than the 6 years those 2 signed for. For younger players more years = more UFA years and higher AAV. Look for 7 or 8 years in the 5.75-6.0 AAV range IMO.
