Most posters thought a deal of Pettersson for Elias Pettersson (the young dman) and a 2nd was fair value.

Beau + 2nd? I'm not too familair with that Beau so I don't know how he comes to a guy like Pettersson. Basically, a decent prospect + 2nd. Or the equivalent of 2 2nds. This is based on recent trades for guys like Chiarot and Tanev.

I could see the Oilers doing this.

Adam Pelech??? LHD has a lot of term and some trade protection. Just spitballin on this one. I like the player and can certainly root for the Oilers.

I think Edmonton has to consider Pelech as well if he would waive his NTC, depending on cost. Has he ever played right side? Its looking more and more like the best option is to grab a LD and play either Kulak or the new LD on Nurse's right side.

Looks like Noah Philp has been called up so this might be his shot to establish himself as their 4th line center for the rest of this season. Would be great if he could check off that need, he certainly has the tools to do it.

Yeah, it seems that this is the trial run for him, so they know if they need to trade for a 4C or not.

Oilers has a 4C in the house. You dont trade for 4th line guys. Thats absurd. If they doesnt come in for a loeer round draftpick.
Oilers should also just trade Jeff skinner if he cant even challange for a roosterspot considering Nuge is falling of and Connor Brown playing top 6. No. Trade now.

Skinner may not be an elite goalie, but for the fin of the game, teams with a borderline good goalie has won before, such as Kuemper.

What oilesrs should do is to fond a physichal punishing D who can play in with Nurse and fill in besides Kulak when needed to complete Emberson dependong on his form

I belive that Emberson could be that 4th D some day, but not the exact answer right right now.
