He is too afraid of taking penalties. If he would have just tied up the man in front of the net then 2 of the goals would not have happened. He just chose to watch instead.

Just another one they couldn’t finish out.The Blues have 44 goals vs 41 expected goals this season. They're good at finishing
you highlight exactly what i've been saying. He's average. For some reason, Blues fans take offense to their shiny golden god being referred to anything but Jesus Binnington. There's nothing wrong with being average. He's just not the guy you all make him out to be.He’s saved this teams ass on multiple occasions, guess you’ve missed those games. Shit games happen
puck watchingAgreed, but he also needs to pay attention to the details of the game and honestly it’s an area where he needs to work on.
How is it talking shit if he was true to his positioning he would have saved 3 goals? It's crazy to see how many people talk shit about Binnington and ignore the fact that like half of these f***ing shots were high danger 10 foot from the creases shots, these weren't softballs from the point.
Saw people say that about the Nashville and Carolina games.
Sooner or later Blues fans are going to have to admit that while he was amazing during the cup run, Binnington is just an average goalie.
Alright Doug, what’s your grand plan to replace him then?you highlight exactly what i've been saying. He's average. He's completely immune from criticism in their eyes. They're stooping so low to dig out any advanced metrics to argue their points now lol.How is it talking shit if he was true to his positioning he would have saved 3 goals?
I f***ing hate that little bastard.Blues can save the season by sending Panger to Siberia

He's f***ing annoying. Can someone fill me in on all of the Panger hate tonight? I'm on the Sportsnet feed.
I only saw 1 goal where (Drai scored) that he should have had his stick down and didn't and paid for it. the other 2 where from the dots and in, and the one he got a piece of after the player had all day to settle it and shoot itHow is it talking shit if he was true to his positioning he would have saved 3 goals?

Except almost every comment in here has been how he had a shit gameHe's completely immune from criticism in their eyes. They're stooping so low to bring out advanced metrics to argue their points now lol.
Other woes aside, I'm glad offensive talent finally isn't an issue with this team.On a better note....
Kyrou now has 16 points in 14 games, Thomas as 15 points in 14 games, and Tarasenko has 14 points in 14 games. Buchnevich is climbing up as well with 8 points in 12 games with 5 points in the past 5 games, Thomas has 7 points in the past 3 games.
I don’t think anyone thinks he is elite. Is just a solid starter with swings of great play.Sooner or later Blues fans are going to have to admit that while he was amazing during the cup run, Binnington is just an average goalie.
at least we can agree: He's average. 13th in sv pct and 20th in GAA. After tonight, it's gonna look worse and he's trending down. Maybe he needs a rest, maybe he needs better defensive personnel. But the bottom line is, he's not the superstar everyone here is trying to paint him as no matter the advanced metric. You can pull any stat out of your rear to make a point but at the end of the day the results speak for themselves. He isn't making the saves he's supposed to be making regardless of the "muh high danger" shots. You can save all the high danger shots you want but if you let soft goals in that you and I can that's telling. He's average. You don't have to like it. Just accept it.I've been saying Binnington is an average goalie for years but he's been well beyond that so far this season by every metric.

A few people didn't like that he was acknowledging the best players in the league
