Putting up 40 points in 60 games is nothing to scoff at in the SM-Liiga. Would love if this guy turned out. He's also leading his team in points at 22.
Seems a bit odd Carolina would trade him, being a Finn and all.

Seems like he's had steady upwards trajectory past few years

Have a feeling Jesse will end up playing in Europe within a couple of years.
Possibly next year. Things haven't gone so well in Carolina for him. Anyone seen Kaptah?
iu

Meanwhile, Yamo has been alright for us. 5 G and 2 A for 7 pts since Mar. 1st (11 games).

You did more than that in the Canes forum. My post was among many to which you stamped a lauhging emoji. Not that I should make a huge deal about it, but still.

What I've never understood about you is your endless need to state Yamamoto is better than Puljujarvi. You may try to disguise it with what you wrote, but the thing is you got annoyed at anyone thinking Puljujarvi is better when you IMO should've just let it go.

Also what you said about you being right isn't a fact, it's just your opinion. I mean do you really think Yamamoto scoring 10+10 while playing with McDavid and Drai through the whole season somehow proves you right? Him and JP have sucked through the season. The big picture is neither deserves to be put above anyone this or last season, that's how sas it's been with those two.
Inuries dude. At least do SOME research before speaking on a subject. He's only played 48 games this season due to injuries, and still has more points than Jesse. Playing better overall too I would say.

Come on now. Expecting someone to know what they are posting about??? My lord, you've crossed the line.
In terms of actually knowing how to play hockey, its not even close. Yamo clearly does. His shortcoming is clearly his size.
Puju on the other hand had the size, but absolutly no idea how to play hockey, nor did he have the skill. Thats a bad combo. Good/great size though.

Yeah, If Yams only had Jesse's size hey? He'd be an absolute beast. Yams is still ok for us though, even with his size. Not the optimal top 6 guy, but a good complimentary player that's tenacious on the forecheck.

I never really understand this kind of comment because Yams IS this size. I guess if I was rich I would be rich? ;)

The concern with Yams isn't in relation to one player specifically. Its that several forwards on this club have more production than him, and several bottomsix players on this team, that don't see the benefit of playing with McD, or Drai, have more goals and pts than Yama. Last week Yams was 12 in production. Only Shore was worse.

Yams is taking one bad penalty/per game and almost cost us last night with Yotes hitting two posts on the inane penalty Yams took 200ft from his own net.

Would have been good for us to have had the capspace and a better player added instead of Yams. At least we got that with the Pulju deal and thank Holland.

I was busy and wasnt able to watch the third, but was checking on my phone. I saw that Edmonton got a delayed penalty. Is it bad that my first thought was ... did Yamamoto take another dumb penalty? or did Kane get a call because the refs/league dont like him?

Yams took a stupid hooking penalty 200ft from his own net. In a third period in a tied game. His look afterward being the typical "what, wny me". the hook was obvious. Was obviously not required in any way either. Was a dumb play. 3rd time last half dozen games Yams has taken a stupid penalty. Possibly due to frustration but he needs to at least avoid this.

Yes. You and bobby going through bunch of old messages putting laughing emojis to several messages is trolling from the two of you and you know that. Or are you saying you wouldn't mind if I started to pick your messages and put systematically laughing emojis to them? Nobody here would or should care? Maybe you want to try that with some most respected posters or posters that have felt strongly against JP? Yes, I didn't think you would.

By the way, was the post I quoted from Kaptah the one you meant when you claimed he had said JP is one goal away from being a top line player? If so you should be extremely embarassed as you twisted words like not seen before and got caught. I hope you're strong enough to admit and apologize. Or kindly show me a post I missed if that's the case.
Lol oh okay yes we are awful for putting emojis hahaha. Go ahead and put laughing emojis. I could care less lmao. It already happened a lot last summer to me when this argument started. Only I didn't complain about it.

Why are you answering your own questions that you asked me bud? Seriously what are you even trying to do here? Make me feel bad? Whyme if your trying to make me feel embarrassed, it's not going to work.

Do yourself a favour. Just stop trying. Or just stop talking to me if you find what I did so "offensive". Is that what it's come to? Putting emojis on other people's posts is a crime?

Cool, maybe stop worrying about it, hes not even an Oiler anymore.
Then why the heck are we even discussing this? Let's just stop discussing it yeah?

Neither has McYams.

He didn’t say that
I'll skip a beat for you and Whyme since you guys are ripping me to shreds yet again and I'm getting Drive will join in along with a couple more other posters. No more Yam > JP talk. I won't post in this thread nor will I show up in the Canes thread, even though I only went in there once and liked a couple posts and posted one of my own (this was picked up by the investigative Whyme).

Happy?

That's not at all what you did but it's easy to tell you are one of those people who can't admit they were wrong or even lied when they're caught. One more time, there's absolutely no problem in your view, it's not a fact like you claimed, but it's just as fine as any opinion. Even if it turns to fact and Yamamoto will be clearly better that's fine and actually good for the Oilers.

But you claiming Kaptah said JP is one goal away from being a 1st liner was obviously a lie and you indeed should be ashamed of being caught like that. I usually don't accuse anyone of lying but you had your chance to correct me or apologize. Aren't you ashamed at all? You know you really can't make a claim that's just so opposite from the truth and think you can just walk away from it. I don't care if you see it as investigating as that's pretty much what it was, though an easy case. If it was a mistake from your part just admit it, mistakes happen to all of us. Unfortunately I expect you to try to derail the discussion and then just disappear, but I'd love to be wrong in this.

Aggressive forecheckers sometimes get penalties. It happens. He also gets some calls too.

On another note...good thing he was able to make that smart pass up to Nurse in OT against the Sharks too hey?

I admit the Kaptah thing was a lie and a mistake. I should be ashamed on a public forum for saying something ridiculous when there are others on here that have said more ridiculous things than I have? Racial as well? Over the past year, I've been attacked on this forum and have had racial messages sent to me privately as well but I haven't complained about it.

I think you're never going to stop this so I'm going to give you what you want. You win. I lied about Kaptah. I did it because it felt good to be right in an argument. But, I'm sorry, I do not feel any shame because I've had more ridiculous things thrown at me over this discussion for the past year that people should feel shame for.

I'm not going to derail anything. I'm just never going to bring up this BS again.

I haven’t seen any games played by Puljujarvi since the trade, but it seems he’s getting a great opportunity with a really good team with lots of really good Finnish players, so I’m happy for him.

With respect to his performance thus far, I think the best conclusion we can draw comes from Pulju himself when interviewed by Tommi Seppala during his final days here: “Maybe I just don’t have it”.

I think he’ll get a one year two way offer for about $1 million NHL, $400,000 AHL, and then he’ll be gone.

Holland said he offered him 2 years at a number starting with “1”. Right call by Holland not to qualify him.

Pulju has a good work ethic (most nights) but he’s bad to mediocre at everything else.

Thank you for your post! I can be persistant in cases like this, I admit it and understand it can be annoying. But you know one reason I wanted to push this out from you is I think I've seen enough to know your core is good. I kind of wanted to push that good core out and maybe I'm misreading it but I feel I see glimpses of it. I understand it's sometimes tough in this forum and I'm sorry to hear about the experiences you said. It certainly shouldn't be like that. I don't know if it means anything but I respect your thoughts and messages and if it was up to me I'd rather keep you in this section. In fact I already tried to go but obviously failed, you have more to give to this forum anyway so don't take me too harshly, all is well at least from my side.
