When this series started, I was just glad we got 4 more games. Now I'll be seriously disappointed in a loss. I don't believe in the Canes invulnerability at home, although they're a great team. I think we can win and I also think we can beat Tampa if we do.

This is coming from a pretty hardcore sports pessimist.

Also, I watch all sort of sports and my team in the IPL 2022 just lost the championship game and I had to see Canada lose the Worlds right afterwards. I'd prefer not to see three straight eliminations of teams I cheer for in the span of 2 days!

I just watched my team win the NCAA lacrosse championship, so i'd like to continue the winning streak.

I legitimately thought we had a really good chance in game 5, but we totally shit the bed. I don't have much faith at all. I just want them to look decent.

Agreed. Also there are five teams left. It's not easy to get to this point, and once a team is here anything can happen. Any of the five teams left can get hot and win it all. Any favored opponent can suffer a big injury and lose. Whatever team wins tonight is a legit cup contender by default, and while the experience is great and at this point the Rangers have had a good season no matter what...the cup becomes a serious and realistic goal with a win.

Definitely option 1. If I knew in advance. I’d take option 1 if the alternative was knowing I’d lose even a Game 7 in the Cup Finals.

But not knowing, I’m pulling for a win.
