I gotta go in pessimistic as always. The last time I went in with optimism they lost. In any event the Rangers exceeded my expectations and frankly im happy with this season. I feel like a broke record. Good luck, bitches ( yes, talking down to the Rangers also helps me)

100%. I view the experience of an ECF appearance a to be much more valuable than a late 1st round pick that may take 3-4 years to ever make the team. At that point, Laf, etc. are veterans and on their 2nd contracts or even 3rd contracts if we do short term deals.

I don't think it'd be out of the realm of possibility that they could get a 1st rounder anyway after the season ends.

Is Krav here long term? Nils has been supplanted by Schneider.

Kravtsov gets you a 2nd if moved now. Feel like he's at least going to be here until training camp.

If you offered Nils to a team for a late 1, which is where he was picked, you'd have to think a team would be in on that, especially teams with 2 1sts. He's at least as valuable as that.

Everyone is injured… Point and Hagel aren’t even practicing. You gotta be in it to win it get me in the conference finals with this team anything can happen sure the Bolts are favorites but I like our team and I’ll take our chances

Ugh man still another 3.5hrs. So pumped and anxious for this. Just want the damn game to start :laugh:

Oh and Option 1 definitely for me. Winning is everything.
 
I don't think they can beat Tampa as currently constructed, but that doesn't mean I don't want to see them at least try.

You're going to need to face Tampa in this contention window whether we like it or not. They aren't going away anytime soon.

Get your first shot now. See what you need to get better at beating them. That's the gold standard. Figure out what it takes to be that gold standard.

We can beat ANYBODY. In hockey it just takes a goalie and we've got one. I didn't think we could go past 5 games vs the Canes....UNLESS Igor was insane. He's insane.

So IF we win tonight, who knows?

Yes, but the growth for our kids from losing to the 2 time defending cup champs in the conference finals would be astronomical. A first hand lesson on the effort and determination required to win multiple cups....

You cannot buy playoff especially late round playoff experience. Absolutely nothing is more valuable to this team than playoff experience right now.

I want them to go as far as possible. As far as they go it will be in merit and digging deep, playung through injuries and guys stepping up amd filling roles like Chytil. You cannot replicate that. I want this team to go as far as possible in these playoffs.
