i know we've been talking about making life more uncomfortable for woll but i'd like to get after him directly, and right away. benny and/or chucky should be in the blue paint stirring up shit from the get go. was it game two in boston where benny crashed the net and got into with ullmark right off the opening draw? all night long there were scrums in front of ullmark and after a couple of games of that, ullmark was really unsettled.

Yeah absolutely. Tkachuk mixed it up with Marner at the end of last game, but I think Marner's too smart for that kind of stuff. Go disrupt their goalie though.... And that'll get them off their game.

How much are the consoles brand new?
May invest in the next generation ones that come out in a few years, my niece likes to play hockey when she's over for a visit.

Right now in between 500 and 550, always been a Playstation guy and still play NHL 20 on my old PS4 which is the last one i got cause i dont think the new ones are worth it ($60 for a roster update with barely any new features)

I love my PS5 and it is totally worth it in that case, they can play any new games AND PS4 on it, also with the PS Plus theres plenty to play from the library titles.

was listening to 32 thoughts from wednesday morning ("11:59 For Toronto") and they felt worst-case scenario for the organization wasn't being swept but rather to win game 4 and come back and lose in front of home fans in game 5. the optics would be terrible.

so, i don't think the pressure is off.

han referenced this guy charron's write-up of games 1-3. here are his game 4 thoughts.

a few things jumped out at me. the leafs have apparently been adjusting to the forecheck by increasingly chipping pucks out as the series has gone on. maybe puck placement on our chips could help, e.g. getting the puck to an area where it's 50/50 and they don't have the time to do anything.

also, 18 possessions of 20 seconds or more for TOR? that seems like a lot. need to break those cycles faster but with TOR using more of a 3-2 now, we have to adjust.

cycle chances and rush chances were down for us. the former probably a result of TOR's quick, uncontrolled exits. transition chances were up a bit, again probably a result of TOR's exits.
