Our avg point production this series is really not worthy of beating most teams at a high level. Tonight we must score to win ……

We won't match up well against the Canes. Leafs have been the better team this series against us. If they beat us, big if, they are better equipped to deal with the Canes than we are.

I keep seeing this but I don't know if I buy it? Panthers were 100% the better team game 1 (chances only evened up in the last 10 minutes when Florida went turtle mode), and game 3. Leafs were 100% the better team game 2, definitely stole that one. Game 4 was a toss up. Pretty much even across the board. It should probably be 2-2 but it's not like Florida's getting killed out there.

That's awesome! I didn't even know they're still touring. I actually bought their CD waaay back when. Just looked up some of their live videos. Shirley Manson...:banana:

I logged off for a couple of days, because I thought people were being kind of melodramatic and defeatist about dropping one (1) game in a series the Panthers still lead 3-1.

Losing a game 2-1, with one of the goals against being a freak puck bounce off of an official is not cause for alarm, IMO. They have three more chances to win, and consider the following: Toronto and Florida have both been better on the road during this playoffs.

I try to sleep a little bit before the game to be fully awake for the start at 2 am. I hope the game will be like this commercial of the main sponsor of our (and Lundell 's) home team.
 
I still believe this team is not ready for the Cup. This is a good run and I think the experience is going to be super valuable for the core players, but this squad is still icing Marc Staal for big minutes. Team needs one more stud defender and better options for the 4th line. Lomberg being injured definitely sucks, but a team is always going to account for injuries.

That said, let's see what happens. Advancing past Toronto means the Panthers will be in for a dogfight with Carolina, and I think that'll be valuable for these guys in the long run, too. Get 'r. done.

I think we match up better against the Hurricanes than the Leafs honestly, but their D core is very good instead of the forwards for the Leafs.

Tough matchups in every series.
