Idk they were still great at 5v5. They were just getting killed on shorties. Normally that wouldn't be a repeatable thing but they've done that to us all year. It's not something I'm overly worried about

That was one strange fking game. We score 8, but give up 3 shorties and 3 posts. We had one or two ourselves. The goaltending was horrible. The best thing to come out of this game is our main guys scored and Luke Hughes was great. We’re lucky to have him. I’m just glad we won.

I don't know. Lindy seems to have mostly done the right changes so far in those playoffs.

It took 10 games and an injury to make the obvious move. Although I'll say I was fine with Luke not playing in g1 of the playoffs. Absolutely should've been in g2 and on.

Outside of Vanecek and the PP, honestly that game couldn’t have gone better. Luke looked like he should’ve been playing all playoffs long. I think he’s a lock to stay in the lineup

Both him and Schmid have f***ing sucked this series. It's a bad spot to be in. I don't feel good about the series because of the goaltending and also because the Canes still have 2 home games to fall back on.

Vanecek: -2.37 GSAx

They haven't been good, but Vitek has been worse and Schmid has the Rangers series going for him. He's bounced back from adversity well and he seems to calm the guys down with his poise.
